The only complaint I've ever had about them is service - often slow, occasionally surly.

BTW adross, I think you're confusing Emeril's NOLA with EAT. Two very different restaurants.Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17090492043585736715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5876214674823177618.post-59306554556748354562008-01-16T09:05:00.000-06:002008-01-16T09:05:00.000-06:00It has been a while since you went to Cafe Atchafa...It has been a while since you went to Cafe Atchafalaya.

Iler Pope sold it Pre-K and recently passed away. The staff all dispersed to other gigs when the renovation started. It might have re-opened pre-K, but there was massive unknown termite damage, and a stolen car plowed into the building (seriously). It's been more than three years since the Cafe Atchafalya you went to existed.

The new incarnation has gone through some teething problems and changed chefs a few times. It is just a different place, and can be disappointing if you were expecting the Iler Pope version...too much crab in this crab cake.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5876214674823177618.post-47719085393893523602008-01-15T21:13:00.000-06:002008-01-15T21:13:00.000-06:00I had a great experience at NOLA when I went back ...I had a great experience at NOLA when I went back in 2004. Granted, I had to sell a kidney to afford it, but it was good.Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02997068139612601851noreply@blogger.com
