Louisiana State Senate Race

Just in case any of my readers are in the 9th Congressional District (PDF Map), I've got an endorsement: David Gereighty.

He's a friend who is running because he wants a real change. He's damn good engineer and I hope you'll give him consideration if you're in his district (basically, the Orleans/Jefferson line on the Eastbank).

Ken Hollis must be term-limited by now, right? Didn't he enter the Senate in the early 90's?

I think it would be great to have an engineer in the State Senate. He doesn't appear to be registered in Louisiana. Perhaps somewhere else?

Peace,

Tim

As it goes in Louisiana, one election leads seamlessly into another, or at least the Republican party hopes so. Their victors this fall--a governor, four statewide officials and a swarm of new legislators--have not yet taken their oaths before the party begins training its guns on the next prize, the U.S. Senate seat held by Democrat Mary Landrieu.
